Trifix or Tritype

The concept of the "trifix" was introduced by Oscar Ichazo. Ichazo's concept of the trifix has been adapted or reinterpreted for the Enneagram personality types (now called "tritype").
The trifix or tritype as used in the personality types identifies an individual as having three primary Enneagram types, one type from each center. So for example, an individual may have a 1-3-5 trifix meaning they identify with type 1 in the body-based doing center, type 3 in the heart-based feeling center and type 5 in the head-based thinking center.
With the trifix concept, an individual is identified with all three centers. An individual's dominant type is still the major type, but now there are two minor or co-types found in the two other centers.

Tritype developed by Katherine Cherncik Fauvre
The Tritype term was coined by Katherine Cherncik Fauvre after conducting extensive research which revealed that we each have not just one, but three primary Enneagram Types, always occurring one in each Enneagram center: Head, Heart and Gut. Her research goes well beyond Ichazo's 'Trifix' concept and is a separate body of work that stands on it's own.
One's Tritype does not necessary contain one's wings or the types along one's lines of connection. To determine your Tritype you can take the complete online Enneacards Enneagram Persoanlity Test at http://www.Enneagram.net/Tests
